Hurricane Charley

Things I wish I did before the storm,
1. Gas up both vehicles! I’m lucky I got gas for the generator. I filled both 5 gallon cans but didn’t fill my trucks tank.
2. Chain saw. I got the generator working, but didn’t bother with the chain saw. I underestimated the amount of downed trees.
3. Bread , milk, water, and pasta
4. Basic repair material. Plywood is good. Also could have needed tar paper, and 2x4’s. also some caulk and plastic sheeting.
5. GENERATOR! Start saving for a Honda that will handle the AC and the fridge.
